In December 2006 Editions Eigenbegeer and Studio Schrever present their newest edition:
GerARTsbergen, het Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-hospitaal.

The history of the city Geraardsbergen is a great interest of photographer Wim Schrever.
That was the reason for him to realise this book: his photographers eye shows a wide view on this precious monument.

The cover shows the first view of the monument: the reader has a direct clue that there is more to come.

Schrever overwelms us with extraordinary professional photos of the architecture. Even so, he has an eye for minuscule details.

The photo-promenade leads the readers first along the different facades of the monument and church.

After the expedition of the outside, the reader is lead inside the monument.

Last but not least, the interior of the church is photographed.

A prologue and an epilogue, and a few short historical notes are accomplished to complete the edition.

The texts are from historian Dom Anselm Hoste osb.

The format of the book is A5, horizontal, with 140 beautiful photos.
The book counts 116 pages, printed in high-quality quadri, and is ..knitted brochured, with a full quadri cover.
