In Januari 2006 presented their newest edition
about cycling in Belgium: it is a book about the first cycling
tour of the new season in Europe, Omloop-Het Volk.
The golden shine of the cobble stones inspired photographer
Wim Schrever to realise an entire photo-edition about the opener
of cycling.
As a photographer, he chose to tell his story with photos, combined
with some poetry about the heraldic cycling in Flanders which
he wrote during his expeditions along the scenery.
The book tells the story about the .. of the cycling tour De
Omloop-Het Volk, photographed in two seasons, in Spring and
in Automn, starting in the centre of Ghent where the cyclists
begin the battle troughout the tempting and at the same time
dangerous Flemish Ardens.

as cycling-scientist Mark Uytterhoeven, ex-coach José
De Cauwer, actor Wim Opbrouck, cyclingjournalist Karl Van Nieuwkerke,
cyclingmecenas Marc Coucke (Lotto-Davitamon), en andere.
The photobook tells the story of the first-one, the very first
cycling classic in the new cycling-season. It also tells the
